June’s Top Picks: Christianity in the Making, Divorce and Remarriage, More

This June, Logos has knocked 40% off top picks from Eerdmans. Even the behemoth Eerdmans Ultimate Collection—1,058 volumes—is 40% off, chopping $10,720 from the regular price.

One thing that hasn’t gone anywhere, though, is variety. Liturgical studies, Church history, New Testament studies, and more are all included.

Inside the Eerdmans Biblical Studies 26-volume collection, for example, you’ll find books like these:

  • Divorce and Remarriage in the Bible: The Social and Literary Context
  • Between Two Horizons: Spanning New Testament Studies and Systematic Theology
  • Bible, Gender, Sexuality: Reframing the Church’s Debate on Same-Sex Relationships
  • Listening to the Spirit in the Text

Another interesting collection from the sale is the 3-volume Christianity in Making by James D. G. Dunn. Dunn traces the origins of Christianity from the time of Jesus in the New Testament, through its burgeoning with Peter, Paul, and James, to the Christological development of the early Church fathers in the first two centuries. Filled with penetrating observations and copious research, Dunn thoroughly explores the issues at the heart of who Jesus is and how Christianity got its start.
